Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali commented on the victory over Qarabag (3-2, 6-1 in the first leg) in the second leg of the Champions League play-off stage. Sport24.az reports that Tonali, speaking to UEFA, said they had difficulty against Qarabag:
"Of course, it was a great start. It's good to score 2 goals in six minutes. After that, the game became more open. It wasn't easy because the overall score was 9:3, so it was difficult to keep up the pace we started with. But the most important thing is to win and advance to the next stage".
