Today, the opponents of the Azerbaijani national team in the UEFA Nations League will be determined. Sport24.az reports that the draw ceremony to be held in Brussels will start at 21:00 Baku time.
The national team, coached by Aykhan Abbasov, will join the draw in the 1st pot of League D. Here, 2 groups of 3 teams will be formed. In these groups, the teams will play 4 matches against each other on a home and away basis.
The two national teams that will participate in League D will be determined after the play-off matches to be held in March.
It should be noted that the new season in the UEFA Nations League will start on September 24. While the last matches of the group will be held in November, the final stage of the tournament will take place in June 2027.
