RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner will continue his career in MLS. Sport24.az reports that journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano announced this on his Facebook page, citing Tom Bogert:
"Timo Werner is joining the San Jose Earthquakes, deal done! The German striker is ready to start a new chapter in MLS. Werner leaves Leipzig and will sign a contract with San Jose in the coming days after a verbal agreement was reached today."
It should be noted that Werner has played 3 matches for Leipzig this season. He also previously played for Tottenham on loan.
