Renowned football throw-in specialist Thomas Gronnemark has trained with the "Sabah" team.
Idman.Biz reports that the Danish coach shared about this on his social media account.
Gronnemark stated that the training in Baku was an unforgettable experience for him:
"This week I worked with the "Sabah" club in Azerbaijan. This is both a great honor and a lifetime experience for me. I was treated like a family member at the club. I trained the team based on my philosophy of 'Long, fast and smart throw-ins'. The process was built on a balance of different intensities, as well as low, medium and high difficulty levels. All of this was organized in accordance with my nine-area 'Complexity-Intensity Model'."
The 50-year-old expert also shared his positive thoughts about Baku:
"Baku is truly a magnificent city. Here, the harmony of historical and modern architecture, friendly people, rich cuisine and seaside environment are especially impressive. If you haven't been to Baku yet, I highly recommend you visit. I thank the ‘Sabah' club for inviting me to conduct throw-in training."
It should be noted that Thomas Gronnemark previously worked at Liverpool under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp. He has also collaborated with famous clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Ajax. He is currently working with Arsenal.
