England national football team coach Thomas Tuchel has put an end to the discussions regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold's exclusion from the squad.
Idman.Biz reports that the specialist spoke about the difficulty of his decision and said that he personally explained the situation to the football player.
"I know that when you leave a player like Trent out of the squad, it will create a stir. We had a phone conversation. I tried to explain the situation, but he just has to accept it. This is a difficult and perhaps not easy choice related to sports. It may be unfair to some extent, but such decisions must be made. The choice fell on Ben White because I saw him here, playing against Manchester City in the cup final. He has already played in the Champions League match and immediately returned to his previous form. This was a chance to get to know him personally, to see how he fits in with the team. I think I know what Trent can give us, so the choice on the right wing fell on Ben and Tino Livramento," said Tuchel.
