Vancouver Whitecaps striker Thomas Müller spoke about leaving Bavaria in the summer of 2025.
Idman.Biz reports that he has played for the Munich club since 2000.
"Despite changing my role, I continued to feel comfortable at Bavaria. I really enjoyed being part of the team and would have liked to stay. But looking back, I can say that the Vancouver adventure gave me more football emotions than being at Bavaria in the first half of the season.
I haven't broken off contact with the club; I still talk to some players on the phone and correspond with the management. Leaving was quite sentimental. I didn't just hand over the keys and leave; my farewell meetings also made their contribution," Müller said in an interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung.
