Vancouver Whitecaps striker Thomas Müller has shared his thoughts on his future.
İdman.Biz reports that his contract with the Canadian club runs until the end of 2025, with the option to extend it for another year.
"Will I stay at Vancouver Whitecaps after 2025? Yes, full speed ahead! Winning the cup is very important in the current situation; for me, it's important here and now.
I moved to a new country and league, and I saw an incredible level of teamwork in a short time. I'm very happy here; I like everything. But of course, the atmosphere here is less tense than in Munich or in Germany in general.
The transition to Vancouver Whitecaps was quite simple; I immediately rose to key positions. The team was earning penalties for me in every game. Of course, you always have to be ready to compete. I came here not to relax, but to take my work seriously, and that's what I strive for.
But you never know how long it will take to become a full member of the team in a new country, a new league, and a new team. I have always adapted very quickly to new environments and often changed the details of my game. There's nothing special about it," said Müller.
