Paul Gascoigne, who won a bronze medal at the 1996 European Football Championship as part of the England national team, was found unconscious at his home and hospitalized.
"Report" reports that "The Sun" newspaper reported this.
Gascoigne was initially placed in intensive care, but his condition is currently considered stable. The former footballer is expected to remain in the hospital for several days.
Gascoigne is 58 years old, he played 57 games for the England national team as a midfielder and scored 10 goals. Gascoigne played for Newcastle, Tottenham, Middlesbrough, Everton, Burnley, Boston United, Lazio, Rangers and Gansu Tianma. He is an English Cup winner, a two-time Scottish champion and a Scottish Cup winner.
