The 2024/2025 season in the Misli Premier League has come to an end. Sport24.az conducted a research on the players who received the most yellow and red cards in the completed season.
Two players share the top spot in the list for yellow cards.
These are Vanderson Melo from "Araz-Nakhchivan" and Ilkin Muradov from "Sabail". Both faced this situation 11 times. Muradov also wore the uniform of "Shamakhi" at the beginning of the season.
Dioqo Verdeska from "Kapaz", Brahim Konate (who moved to "Zira"), who played for "Shamakhi" last season, and Yuri Matias, who left "Neftchi", each received 10 "yellow" cards.
In direct red cards, "Neftchi"'s legionnaire Edvin Kuč is the leader. The Montenegrin player was sent off twice last season after receiving a "red" card.
In addition, 11 other players received this punishment once.
It should be noted that the 2025/2026 season in the Premier League will start on August 15.
