The format of Azerbaijan championships for lower age groups may change.
Jamal Bulbul, director of the Neftchi Football Academy, said this in an interview with "Report".
He said that a number of proposals were made during the meeting with the employees of the Competition Organization Department of AFFA:
"A meeting was held with the participation of directors and coordinators. Problems related to the holding of leagues, organization and other issues were touched upon. Everyone's opinion was asked. Everyone expressed common opinions on some issues. We evaluated all leagues from U-8 to U-19. We had requests from AFFA to develop a new format so that children can play more at younger ages. Our recommendation is that each child play at least one part, 15-20 minutes. We want the number of parts to be increased. For example, we can raise it to 3-4".
C.Bulbul emphasized that there may be changes in the number of football players:
"In the U-13 championship, 9 players from one team appear on the field. We support that it should be 11. Because it is like this in U-14. It is also like this in many countries. Therefore, we asked to switch to this format".
