The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced its final decision regarding the head coach of the national team, Vincenzo Montella. According to Sport24.az, the president of the organization, Ibrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, stated that cooperation with the Italian expert will continue while discussing his future.
He emphasized that they have a long-term contract with Montella: "Even if we had lost the game against Kosovo, we would still continue with him. As long as I am the head of the federation, he is our head coach. He built this national team, he created the family atmosphere. We hope he will stay at the head of the team."
It should be noted that Vincenzo Montella, who was appointed as the head coach of the Turkish national team in 2023, first qualified for the European Championship and then for the World Cup.
