"Girona" goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen addressed the fans after suffering a thigh muscle injury.

For athletes, the greatest joy comes from competitions - from training and performance. I will have to postpone all this for several months because I decided to have surgery.

Ter Stegen moved to Girona on loan from Barcelona on January 21 and played in two matches - against Getafe (1:1) and Oviedo (0:1).
