"We know Aston Villa well." Sport24.az reports that this was said by Fenerbahçe's Brazilian star Anderson Talisca at a press conference before the UEFA Europa League match against Aston Villa.
The Brazilian footballer answered the question "How does it feel to play with former Aston Villa players John Duran and Marco Asensio?" as follows:
"I am happy to play with Asensio and Duran. As a club, we are happy to have them with us. They are very good people. They help our team a lot. We know Aston Villa, they are having a good season. We will play at home and we want 3 points, that is our goal."
Talisca stated that he was pleased to be compared to Fenerbahçe's legendary footballer Alex De Souza:
"We have some similarities, we play in the same position. I think Alex is the greatest footballer in the club's history. He has achieved great success. We sometimes talk to him. He deserves everything he has achieved here. He has always contributed to his team. I am also happy with this comparison."
It should be noted that Fenerbahçe will play their next UEFA Europa League match against English representative Aston Villa tomorrow.
