35-year-old Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has shared his thoughts on his career at Juventus.
İdman.Biz reports that the goalkeeper played for Juventus from 2017 to 2024.
"I was able to replace Buffon. There was no more difficult test for a goalkeeper. I thought I would play for two or three years, and then they would start looking for a younger player. Instead, I kept renewing my contract until I became Juventus' oldest player, the one with the most games played, the most experienced, the player who built the team," Canluca Di Marzio quoted Szczęsny as saying on the official website.
Although Szczęsny ended his career in August 2024, he joined the Catalan club in October, continuing his career. He has played nine games this season and conceded 17 goals.
As part of the Turin club, the player became the Italian champion three times, won the Italian Cup three times, and the Super Cup twice.
