English club "Sunderland" has strengthened its squad with a new player. Sport24.az reports that the team promoted to the Premier League has resolved the transfer of Habib Diarra from Strasbourg.
This was reported by insider Fabrizio Romano.
"Sunderland" will pay the French club 35 million euros in compensation for the Senegalese midfielder. The 21-year-old footballer will sign a 5-year contract with him after passing a medical examination.
It should be noted that Habib Diarra is a graduate of "Strasbourg". The Senegalese international scored 4 goals and 5 assists in 33 official matches for the Ligue 1 team last season.
