Sumgayit's footballer Cedric Badolo has received an invitation from the Burkina Faso national team. The player announced this in an interview with Sport24.az after the match against Sabah (1:3) in the XXV round of the Misli Premier League. He said that despite the invitation, he refused to go to the team's camp:
"I received an invitation from the national team. But I decided not to go. I will stay here and train. My goal is to prepare and speed up my adaptation."
It should be noted that Badolo has been playing for Sumgayit since December last year. He has played in 6 matches in the championship.
