"It was a difficult game on a tough pitch." These words were said by Sumgayit player Rayan Senhadji to Sport24.az.
The defender shared his thoughts on the XVIII round match of the Misli Premier League, in which they won 2:0 against Karvan-Yevlakh:
"I think the score could have been higher if we could have used all the goal opportunities in the second half."
The player recalled that they will face Zira in the 1/4 finals of the Azerbaijan Cup and in the XIX round:
"We will face this opponent twice in a row. This is a bit of an unusual situation. But we will take both meetings very seriously and do our best to get two wins. We also know that they are a good team."
Senhadji also spoke about his goals for the current season:
"We are just focused on getting good results. The championship is a long marathon. We have to think game by game. We will see what happens at the end of the season."
