In recent days, fans' dissatisfaction on social networks regarding the matches held at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade has attracted attention. They mainly express their complaints about congestion and cleanliness issues.
Regarding the issue, Idman.Biz received a statement from the press secretary of the "Sumgayit" Football Club (FC), Zaur Khudiyev.
He stated that fans are the most important factor for the club and security and entry planning are carried out taking into account the congestion during the game.
"Every match is held only for fans, and without them the game is not complete. Even if one fan is dissatisfied, it is important for us and we try to eliminate this problem. There may be difficulties with congestion and cleanliness during the game. Every event at the stadium is planned before the game: security measures, police control and ticket check points are organized according to the number of fans. The stadium entrance gates open one hour before each game so that people can enter gradually and avoid congestion.
The issue of cleanliness mainly stems from the behavior of the fans themselves. The fans themselves use the sanitary facilities in the stadium area during the game. If there is dirt there, it mainly stems from their own behavior. It is not possible to clean all sanitary facilities in 90 minutes. If the problem arises before or after the game, then I would agree with these objections."
Zaur Khudiyev finally appealed to the club's fans:
"Through you, I appeal to the fans and ask them to come to the games on time, take their places in advance and treat the club's events with understanding. This is important for the comfort of both them and the team."
It should be noted that today the second match of the XII round of the Misli Premier League between "Sumgayit" and "Qarabag" will take place. Farid Hajiyev will manage the match, which will start at 19:00.
