Ukrainian national team footballer Georgi Sudakov will not be able to participate in the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against the Azerbaijani national team.
According to "Report", the 23-year-old midfielder announced this on his social media account.
The player, who plays for the Portuguese club Benfica, has already left the national team camp and wished his teammates success in the next match.
Sudakov was injured in the away match against Iceland, which they won (5:3).
It should be noted that the Ukraine-Azerbaijan match, which will be held on October 13 in Krakow, Poland, will start at 22:45 Baku time.
