Benfica footballer Georgi Sudakov gave a statement to the Portuguese press after the match against Qarabag (2:3) in the first round of the UEFA Champions League League stage. Sport24.az reports that the Ukrainian midfielder, speaking to Sport TV, said that every attack of the Azerbaijani champion was dangerous:
"It was difficult. We have to grow and raise our heads. We were winning 2-0 in the first half, we were controlling the game. But after the goal we conceded from a free kick, the game changed. Qarabag didn't do much, but every attack was dangerous for our team and we had a weak second half. Nevertheless, we have to move forward and perform better in the next game. It's fantastic for me to be able to play in this team. I'm happy, but not because of this result."
