Fenerbahçe president and candidate for leadership Ali Koç made a scandalous statement about the refereeing system in Turkish football.
According to İdman.biz, Koç said in a statement to Sözcü TV that a judge filmed in a casino was appointed as the head of VAR without any explanation after resigning.
The club president emphasized that it is absurd to give such a responsible position to such a person: "Currently, referees are making money from mass claims against fans. Referees have turned this into a source of income. But only Fenerbahçe is raising these issues. Why is no one else talking?"
