Reports have emerged that Azerbaijani champion "Qarabag" is in negotiations with Lithuanian national team striker Manfredas Ruzgis.
Idman.biz reports that the 28-year-old footballer will become a free agent at the end of June.
Ruzgis, who spent his last season at "Vora" competing in the 2nd tier of Albania, was born in Germany. The forward played a key role in his team's promotion to the Albanian Super League at the end of the season. Manfredas scored 24 times in 30 games, becoming the league's top scorer.
The Albanian press wrote that the football player received a good offer from Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that Ruzgis has been invited to the upcoming matches of the Lithuanian national team. His national team will face Malta on June 7 as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifying round, and Denmark 3 days later in a friendly match. Both matches will be held away.
