Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard criticized the Reds' performance after their 1-2 defeat to Wolverhampton in the Premier League. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to TNT Sports.
Gerrard also recommended removing forward Cody Gakpo, who has scored one goal in the last nine games, from the starting lineup:
"For 65 minutes, Liverpool tried very hard to change the game, but played very poorly, didn't create enough goal chances, and we didn't see the necessary speed and tempo.
The head coach should give Nqumo a place in the starting lineup. Against the background of Gakpo's poor performance, Nqumo brings more benefit to the team. He deserves it. This guy should start in the FA Cup."
