Former Liverpool captain and midfielder Steven Gerrard commented on the situation regarding forward Mohamed Salah's departure from the team. Sport24.az reports that he gave an interview to Goal about this:
"You have to buy a player who will greatly benefit the team, otherwise you won't be able to replace him. To replace Salah, you have to bring in one of the top three or four wingers in the world. Because Mo is exactly that.".
It should be noted that a few days ago, Salah announced that he would leave Liverpool at the end of the current season. The Egyptian winger has been playing for the Reds since 2017. Salah has played 310 games in the Premier League, scored 189 goals and provided 92 assists.
