The agent of former England midfielder Steven Gerrard has refused to discuss his client's possible appointment as head coach of Spartak.
According to the source, the reason for the refusal is the political situation in Russia.
It should be noted that the 45-year-old Englishman's last job was the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq, which he left in January. Gerrard previously coached Aston Villa, Rangers and Liverpool's youth team.
