Former Liverpool midfielder and captain Steven Gerrard has shared his thoughts on whether West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen can replace 33-year-old winger Mohamed Salah, who is expected to leave the Reds this summer.
Idman.Biz reports that Salah and Liverpool have announced that they will part ways at the end of the season.
"I'm a big fan of Bowen and I think he's a high-quality player, but I'm not sure he's at the level to replace him," Gerrard said.
This season, Bowen has played in 34 games in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 35 million euros.
