Former Juventus, Arsenal, and Switzerland defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has been appointed as the head coach of Basel. Sport24.az reports that the club's official website has announced this.
A contract has been signed between the parties until the summer of 2029.
The 42-year-old specialist coached Basel's youth teams from 2022 to 2024.
