Manchester City leadership is planning to erect a statue to Kevin De Bruyne, who played his last game for the team yesterday. Sport24.az reports that the club's press service has shared this information:
"We will erect a statue of him at our stadium to commemorate the midfielder's magnificent career. The player who has worked for the success of our club for 10 years deserves it."
It should be noted that the 33-year-old midfielder's contract with Manchester City expires in June. The Belgian footballer has played 421 games for the "Citizens", scored 108 goals and provided 177 assists.
