Milan's head coach Massimiliano Allegri has commented on the negotiations between goalkeeper Mike Maignan and the club regarding a new contract. Sport24.az reports that the 58-year-old specialist said that the French goalkeeper is one of the best in the world:
"Mike has always been one of the best goalkeepers in the world. I am not surprised by his game. As for his contract, the club is working on it. They are working to ensure a stable future for this team. I talk to Maignan about what happens on the field and I am happy. Because he is calm and continues to prove his qualities."
It should be noted that Mike Maignan has played 13 games for Milan this season. The 30-year-old 'glove holder' has conceded 9 goals in these matches and kept a clean sheet in 7 games.
