"Sporting" has won the Portuguese Cup after a 6-year break.
Idman.biz reports that the Lisbon representative defeated the other capital club, "Benfica", 3:1 in the final.
"Sporting", which escaped defeat thanks to Viktor Gyökerş's penalty in the 90+11th minute to equalize the score, scored two more goals in extra time and won the national cup for the 18th time.
"Sporting", which won the championship eight days earlier in the Portuguese championship, beating "Benfica" by 2 points, completed the "golden double".
