The return matches of the 1/8 final stage of the UEFA Champions League kicked off today.
Lent.az reports that four matches were held on the first match day.
In the opening match of the day, Sporting hosted Budyo Glimt. The Portuguese representative, who lost the first game with a score of 0:3, won with the same score in front of their fans. Sporting, who scored 2 more goals in extra time, made a spectacular comeback and advanced to the next stage.
Real Madrid faced Manchester City away. The winner of the tense match was the "royal club" – 2:1. With this result, the Spanish representative, who gained a 5:1 advantage in the overall score, advanced to the 1/4 final stage.
