Spanish footballer Lucas Perez has made an interesting statement about his personal life.
İdman.Biz reports that the experienced striker said that his parents abandoned him in his childhood.
"I was raised by my grandparents, not my parents. They abandoned me and put me in an orphanage, they didn't want to take care of me. When my grandparents heard about this, they immediately took me in and raised me with love," he said.
Peres later stated that a few years ago his father suddenly appeared and demanded lifelong alimony from him:
"Even though my father didn't raise me, he has now filed a lawsuit and is demanding permanent alimony from me. When my mother learned that I had signed a contract with 'Arsenal' in 2017, she also wrote me a letter demanding money. But she had no right to do so because her name was not mentioned in parental responsibility."
It should be noted that 36-year-old Lucas Perez has played for clubs such as "Deportivo", "Arsenal", "West Ham", "Alaves" and "Elche" during his career.
