After Luciano Spalletti's resignation from the post of head coach of the Italian national team and Claudio Ranieri's refusal to take the vacant position, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) continues its search for a new head coach for the team. Sport24.az reports that one of the candidates is the Spaniard Rafael Benitez, who is well known to Italian fans for his work in Serie A.
The AS publication reported that the Spaniard is ready for negotiations.
It should be noted that experts such as Roberto Mancini, Fabio Cannavaro and Gennaro Gattuso are also among the candidates.
