South African national team goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is very close to continuing his career in Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports that the 33-year-old goalkeeper's agent, Kenneth Yamongbe, said this in an interview with Africafoot.
However, he did not reveal the name of the club his client will join: "Because I am very cautious in my work, I will only record the signing of the South African national team captain in Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that Ronwen Williams, who plays for Mamelodi Sundowns in his country, has a contract until the summer of 2028. The goalkeeper's market value on Transfermarkt is listed as 1 million euros. He was also involved in the academy of England's Tottenham club in his teens.
