Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has confirmed his desire to leave the London club. Sport24.az reports that the South Korean footballer made the announcement to the Football.london portal:
I asked for permission to leave Tottenham. The decision has been made. I did my best here and now I need a new challenge. This is the hardest decision of my life. I came to North London as a child and I am leaving as an adult. I thank all the fans who showed me so much love.
It should be noted that Son moved to Tottenham from Bayer in 2015. He has played 454 games for the English club, scoring 173 goals and providing 101 assists.
