An interesting incident occurred in the "Sochi" club, representing the Russian Premier League, before the match with "Akhmat".

According to reports, the club's CEO, Vladimir Novikov, warned the players that if they did not win against "Akhmat" in Grozny, they would travel to the next away game against "Orenburg" (a distance of 2208 km) in a "GAZel" van.
Although this threat was not real, it served as motivation for the team, along with the game instructions from head coach Aleksandr Osinkin.
As a result, "Sochi" won both their first away game and their second overall victory in the Russian Premier League this season, leaving the direct relegation zone with 8 points and rising to 14th place.
