Siyasət Əsgərov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan women's national football team, has evaluated the training camp in Belarus and the friendly matches held with the hosts.
"Report" informs, referring to the press service of AFFA, that the specialist said that he had the opportunity to check some players.
"From June 25, we were at a training camp in Minsk, we held two friendly matches. Such preparations are very important for our national team. The main thing is that the players do not lose their game practice. In addition, there was an opportunity to check some young girls. In the second friendly game against the Belarusian national team, we had fewer mistakes compared to the first match. In both matches, we gave a chance to young players newly recruited to the national team. In my opinion, we performed better in the second game. In particular, the first half was interesting, we could not take advantage of the goal chances. At the beginning of the second half, we conceded a goal due to a simple mistake. After that, we attacked for an equalizing goal, and the opposing team took advantage of the gap and scored for the second time. In general, this training camp will help us a lot," said the head coach.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team lost both test matches against Belarus (0:2, 0:3).
