Winning was of great importance to increase the motivation of the Azerbaijani national women's team.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the head coach of the team, Siyasat Asgarov, in a statement to the AFFA press service.
The specialist commented on the victory over the home team in the second consecutive test match of the team, which held a training camp in Kazakhstan:
"The games with the Kazakhstan national team were very important for us. Because we did not finish our last matches on a very good note. For this reason, winning was of great importance to increase the motivation of the players. We are happy that we were able to do this in both meetings. We could have won with a bigger difference in the first match. Apparently, after that game, the opponent analyzed us very well. We faced difficulties today. In my opinion, the fact that our players could not fully recover for the second match also played a role. Still, the girls showed character, fought to the end and scored the winning goal. I thank our team for this."
At the end, S. Asgarov thanked the Kazakhstan Football Federation for the created conditions and emphasized that the place allocated for the training camp was beautiful.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team won the first test match against the Kazakhstan national team with a score of 2:1.
