Siyasat Asgarov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan women's national football team, is on a visit to Turkey.
Idman.Biz reports that he traveled to this country at the invitation of Murat Kocaardiç, the president of the Women's First League club "Gaziantep Safir", and is currently participating in the team's camp as a special guest of the club's head.
As part of his visit, Siyasat Asgarov is exchanging views with the coaching staff of "Gaziantep Safir" on a number of issues, closely monitoring the training processes, and sharing his experience with his colleagues. He won the Turkish championship with the Turkish women's team "Fomget" in the 2022/2023 season.
During his visit, the head coach will also watch the play-off match between "Gaziantep Safir" and "Haymana" on March 24 from the stadium. In that game, the football players of the Azerbaijani national team will also face each other. Thus, Joshguna Aliyeva plays for "Gaziantep Safir", and Aysun Muradova plays for "Haymana". The winner of the match will qualify for the Turkish Super League.
