Several members of the Azerbaijani national team face the risk of missing the match against France in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to sport24.az that six football players of the team may not appear in the mentioned match.
Toral Bayramov, Renat Dadashov, Rahman Dashdemirov, Abbas Huseynov, Emin Mahmudov and Rustam Ahmadzada are on a yellow card limit. If they get a yellow card in today's match against Iceland, they will not appear in the next match against France.
Note that the Azerbaijan-Iceland match will start today at 21:00. The national team will host the French national team on November 16.
