The armed attack in the Ümraniye district of Istanbul, which resulted in the death of 21-year-old footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, shook the Turkish agenda. As the criminal investigation expanded, the connections of the incident with the world of magazines created a shock effect.
İdman.Biz, referring to the Turkish press, reports that the detainees in connection with the murder include the famous singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and her mother Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu. According to the allegations, the mother and daughter are accused of "incitement to crime."

According to the information, rapper Vahap Canbay used their mutual friend, footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, as an intermediary to reconcile with Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, whom he had broken up with some time ago. On March 19, the parties met in Ümraniye to talk. While they were waiting in the car, two different cars approached them, and as a result of the fire opened from inside, the footballer in the car was seriously injured and died in the hospital. It is suspected that the real target was rapper Vahap Canbay.
As a result of the police operation, a total of eight people were detained, including Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who opened fire. It was determined that Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was in a nearby car at the time of the incident.

Aleyna's mother, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, claimed that her daughter was constantly subjected to physical and psychological violence by Vahap Canbay:

"Vahap headbutted my daughter. My daughter broke up with him three times, but he was constantly threatening her."
Currently, statements are being taken from the detainees and the murder weapon has been sent for expert examination.
