Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet will end his professional football career at the end of the season.
Report informs that the press service of the Belgian representative "Brugge", where the goalkeeper currently plays, has released information about this.
The experienced "glove holder" will say goodbye to football at the end of the 2025/2026 season.
Commenting on his decision, Mignolet said that he intends to finish the final stage of his career properly.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper has been wearing the Brugge uniform since August 2019. During this time, he became the Belgian champion four times with the team, and also won one national cup and three Super Cups.
