Atletico Madrid's head coach Diego Simeone assessed Julian Alvarez's performance after the La Liga match against Alaves in the 20th round, which ended with a score of 1:0.
Idman.Biz reports that the Argentinian specialist said he was satisfied with the striker's performance and that the goals would come sooner or later.
"He played very well both in the away match in La Coruña and in the match against Real. He is playing well, the goals will definitely come. I am not worried because he has goals. He just needs to continue working. Considering his stability at Atletico, we will soon be talking about Julian's goals," Simeone said in a statement to Mundo Deportivo.
This season, Julian Alvarez has played 27 matches in all tournaments, scored 11 goals and made five assists.
