On Monday, March 30, the Azerbaijan national football team will play its second match as part of the "FIFA Series – 2026".
According to Idman.Biz, the national team will face the Sierra Leone team in Sumgayit. The match will start at 19:00 Baku time.
Unlike the match against Saint Lucia, which ended with a confident 6:1 victory for the home team, the match against Sierra Leone will not be easy for Aykhan Abbasov's team. The African team has brought a group of legionnaires to Baku who play in European clubs, and they are the ones who can create the biggest problems for the Azerbaijani team.
The most high-profile player in the opponent's squad is Djumä Ba, a central defender who plays for Nice on loan from Manchester City in the French Ligue 1. He is especially dangerous in set pieces and aerial duels, where he can use his physical advantage.
