FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced a newly approved decision regarding the final of the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that for the first time in history, a show program will be organized during halftime at the World Cup final match.
Infantino spoke about this at the "Semafor World Economy" summit held in Washington, DC. According to him, a concert-show will take place during halftime at the final to be held in the New York/New Jersey area on July 19.
The decisive game of the tournament will be played at the "MetLife Stadium" in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA.
The FIFA chief said that the famous British music group "Coldplay" and its lead singer Chris Martin are involved in the preparation of the show program.
