"Today, sports are developing successfully in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has also achieved great success in the field of sports. We are very happy about the success of our friendly and neighboring Azerbaijan."
İdman.biz reports that these words were said by Shota Arveladze, a Georgian football expert and head coach of the Turkish "Kasımpaşa" football team, in an interview with AZERTAC.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Georgia cooperate successfully in all fields. There is also a certain level of cooperation in the field of sports.
"However, I think that this cooperation does not fully meet today's requirements and we must expand it and develop it further. I believe that our countries and peoples will achieve great success in joint cooperation in the field of sports as well," Arveladze emphasized.
The football expert said that a special Sports Institute was opened in Tbilisi with the organization of the KRUYFF Foundation in Georgia. This institute will deal with the protection of the health of athletes who excel in football and other fields, as well as strengthening the legal and scientific foundations in this field.
Arveldze stated that athletes from Azerbaijan and other countries will also be able to benefit from this institute.
