"Yesterday, I watched the games of "Sabah" and "Araz-Nakhchivan" with heartache. To be honest, after the first game of "Sabah", I hoped that they would perform better in the return match. Unfortunately, both of our teams lost and stopped competing in European cups." Yashar Seyidov said this in an interview with Sport24.az.
The head of the Board of Directors of "Dinamo", which is currently competing in the II League, shared his thoughts on the failure of our clubs in the Conference League:
"The fact that there is no club in European cups except "Qarabağ"? I know the exact reason for this, but excuse me, I won't talk about it. I'm not hiding it, to tell you the truth, they create big problems for "Dinamo". It is more appropriate to remain silent at the moment. Everyone knows everything. Why a guide to a visible village? They create such problems that even the devil wouldn't think of. As someone who has served Azerbaijani football with conscience and honor for half of my life, I don't want to talk about this. Those who spend the money allocated by the state to the left and right, on unnecessary legionnaires, have become the owners of the word. Let them understand their responsibility and give a report. I give a report in 10 places for the 5-10 thousand manats that I receive monthly from AFFA and FIFA for "Dinamo". With this small amount, I gather children and young people from Baku and surrounding villages and participate in the championship with 10 teams. I have taken them away from bad habits and brought them to football by providing healthy education. I do this without sponsors, without any help. 500 hundred thousand manats are given to other teams. If I talk a little more, "Dinamo"'s participation in the championship will be in question."
It should be noted that "Sabah" and "Araz-Nakhchivan" have stopped competing in the UEFA Conference League. The Baku representative lost at home to the Bulgarian team "Levski" (Sofia) with a score of 0:2 (first game - 0:1), and the Nakhchivan club lost in Cyprus to "Omonia" with a score of 0:5 (first game - 0:4).
