"Qarabag" proved to be a strong opponent.
According to "Report", this was stated by the head coach of "Shkendija" (North Macedonia), Ceton Bekjiri, at a press conference after the return match against "Qarabag" in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
He commented on the heavy defeat:
"I congratulate the opposing team on their victory. They played much better than us. Especially in the first half, we made a very bad impression. One of our main problems was conceding early goals. In the Champions League, opponents always make a strong impression. From tomorrow, we will analyze this defeat. We will now think about the Europa League play-off stage."
"Of course, we did not expect such a defeat. We wanted to achieve a good result. But such defeats give experience to the team and the players. We will try to learn from this defeat."
It should be noted that the "Qarabag" - "Shkendija" match ended with a 5:1 victory for the Aghdam representative.
