"Lerik", which finished 13th in the Second League, tried to maintain its place in the championship. "Shirvan", the finalist of the Regional League, fought for a ticket to a higher division. Lerik residents were very close to victory. Although they took the lead with a score of 2:0, the Shirvan team was able to come back. "Shirvan" equalized the score in the 90+5th minute, and scored the winning goal 2 minutes later.
