Former Ukrainian "Milan" striker Andriy Shevchenko visited the base of his former club.
This was reported by the official website of the Italian club.
The Ukrainian veteran met with a number of the team's players, as well as head coach Massimiliano Allegri. During the meeting, commemorative photos were also taken.
Shevchenko played for "Milan" from 1999-2006. Although he was very close to becoming the club's all-time top scorer, he unexpectedly transferred to Chelsea for many fans.
The Ukrainian forward scored 175 goals for Milan. Shevchenko also returned to Milan on loan from Chelsea for a short period in the 2008/2009 season.
